Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, on Florida's Space Coast just over an hour's drive from Orlando, might change your mind. Brevard Zoo was opened on March 26, 1994. This zoo is considered as "The World's Largest Volunteer Community Build". You can see more than 500 animals in the zoo like kangaroos, white rhinos and bald eagles. Kids can enjoy boat rides.
