American Kestrel
The American kestrel (Falco sparverius) is a small falcon bird. Birds
living in northern Canada and Alaska would migrate towards southern regions.
This bird is commonly found only in North America, and very rarely only
it moves to Western Europe. American kestrel was originally known as the Sparrow Hawk. But this name
was not suitable because it had a correlation with the Old World Sparrow
hawk Accipiter nisus, but then the Kestrel is not a hawk it is a falcon.
