Miami metropolitan area and the Greater South Florida metropolitan area both hold a part of Hialeah. Hialeah houses the U.S based production facility of Orangina's. Hialeah means "High Prairie", this name was obtained from the Seminole tribe. And the city got this name because it is located upon a large prairie between Biscayne Bay and the Everglad.

Most of the Hialeah population speaks Spanish and thus this city rank #1 in the list of cities in the United States where the language Spanish is most spoken. The first language being Spanish about 89% of their populations speak the language.

Hispanic or Latino of any race form about 85.17% of any population.
