Central Florida Zoological Park
Central Florida Zoological Park provides a relaxing, entertaining and educational experience for the entire family. You can see different animals like Puerto Rican Coqui, Amur Leopards, king cobra and spider monkeys. You can feed domestic animals in the zoo. Set in a park of more than 100 acres, this 21-acre zoo houses more than 400 animals representing 126 species. The Zoo began in 1923 with the name, Sanford Zoo. In 1975, the Central Florida Zoo opened in its present location. The zoo also offers a variety of educational and child-friendly classes and events.
