The Del Aire Motel in Daytona Beach, Fla., is a casual beachfront property one mile from Ocean Walk Village and the Daytona Beach Convention Center. The Main Street Pier is located less than two miles away and Daytona Beach International Airport is within six miles of the motel. The Del Aire Motel boasts tropically landscaped grounds, a fenced playground for children and an outdoor pool. Poolside shuffleboard is also available. Amenities include airport transportation for a fee, complimentary newspapers and a limited hour front desk. The motel's 65 guestrooms feature tropical décor and light wood furnishings. Each guestroom includes cable televisions, coffeemakers, microwave ovens, stoves, sinks and refrigerators.

Each unit has a private, tiled balcony with ocean views. The resort has been purposely designed, and the imported cane decor provides a tropical atmosphere. Every bedroom has a choice of king size or twin beds ~ with own en-suites. Every bedroom has an alarm clock/radio, and each unit has a colour TV with remote. All units have l.D.D. telephones. Every private balcony has a small table and chairs - ideal for breakfast as the balconies get the morning sun, as you look out to sea with views to Phillip and / or Nepean Islands off shore.

Upon first glance, one might be tempted to turn away, but "you can't judge a book by its cover!" Stayed here for one night and will definitely come back again. The room was huge and had everything you could want for a vacation at the beach. We especially appreciated the full kitchen including refridgerator, stove (with oven) and microwave. They even provided the diswashing soap! The room was spotless as well as the bathroom. If you are looking for a great place to stay away from the crowds of Daytona, this is the place. The oceanfront balcony was worth its weight as well. The pool was sparkling. Again, we will definitely be back and the next time we'll stay a lot more than one night. I see a week's vacation here in our future.
