This little hotel has a lot going for it. It's simple, it's sweet, the staff is super friendly and warm, it's super inexpensive, it's one block away from the ocean, it has a cute little pool, it's clean, it's in a nice area of town... It's kind of the perfect spot to get away for an easy few days away. What I like most about it, is that it's the perfect place to unwind, and get away from it all for a few days. What could be easier than jumping a plane to West Palm Beach, and driving a few minutes to get to this little hotel, where you can hang by the pool, or head to the ocean. It's inexpensive enough, that you don't have to feel any pressure about "enjoying" yourself constantly... you can take the time to nap by the pool, in your hotel room, read a book... there's 'no pressure' so to speak. If you're staying longer than a few days, you can rent a room with a kitchen, and do some grocery shopping... and make simple lunches, so you don't have to interrupt your relaxation during the afternoon with a car ride to any of the nearby local restaurants. I highly recommend this little local gem.

I cannot recommend the Deerfield Buchanneer Apartments any more highly. They were clean, wonderfully furnished and with a fully stocked kitchen. The staff was great! The location cannot be beat. You are right in the heart of the beach/resturant community but in a location that is quiet and private also. I will be going back and telling my friends about it. Its the best deal, in my opinion, in the area.

I loved how clean and well run this little 20 room establishment was run. The rooms had tile floors that the cleaning staff washed every day (a must with sea sand). The place was very clean. The kitchenette was well stocked with sliverware and plates. There were several gas barbeques available for guests by the pool. Great for families that don't want to eat out every meal. The heated pool was great and the views of the ocean were fabulous. The beach couldn't be closer. It is just three steps across a beautiful little road done in pavers that match the sidewalks. It is a small built up area of hotels on a beautiful beach. Parking is tight but the hotel has space just for guests. The guests are quiet and family oriented. If you are single and looking for someplace to party at 2 AM this is not the place for you. The cleaning staff and main desk staff were nice and very helpful. I loved this motel but the management seems dubious of first timers. Many of the people I met have been staying here on vacation for years. So they make you sign an agreement saying you have read all their rules and will abide by them. For instance, if you lose a key they will charge you something like $50. Towels are tracked like precious jewels. They will charge you if you lose one or don't hand it in... etc. Here is another small gripe: Our flight was later in the day and I was told they hadn't booked our room. So I asked if we could check out after the 11 AM deadline. Management said yes but they charged us a third of the daily rate for two more hours.
