Florida stands top in attracting tourists around the globe. The natural flora and faunas, exotic theme parks, resorts and restaurants have made the state still more appealing to the travelling enthusiasts. Florida houses many worlds' popular amusement parks in the row that has been considered as the traveler's must see hot spots.

Walt Disney World

The Walt Disney world resort otherwise known as Disney world is the most visited vacation resort in the world. It covers the total land area of 42,000 acres in-housing resort hotels, theme parks, water parks, golf courses and other recreational and entertainment venues. Theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios , Disney's Animal Kingdom. Water parks- Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, Disney's Blizzard Beach.

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando is the marine-life based zoological theme park. It is the nineteenth most visited amusement park in the world. The theme park hosts an array of live shows and fascinating animal exhibits such as Orca whales, dolphins, seals, and sea otters. There are totally 15 rides and attractions, 8 live entertainments and 8 animal exhibits.

Weeki Wachee Springs

Weeki Wachee Springs is the aquarium like tourist attraction where women disguised as mermaids exhibit underwater performances. Buccaneer bay, animal live shows, mermaid campaign events, Water Park and boat rides also forms the major part of attraction. The mermaid's performances are witnessed in an aquarium-like setting in the spring of the Weeki Wachee River.

Dinosaur World

Dinosaur world houses three outdoor dinosaur theme parks in Texas, Florida and Kentucky. The park is famous for life- size dinosaur sculptures and real fossil preservations. Dinosaur walk with explanatory signs, bone yard playground, movie cave, museum with reproduction fossils are the part of attractions. The dinosaur world has one of the world's largest magnifying fossil skull representations.

Busch Gardens Tampa

Busch Gardens Tampa is the animal theme park opened on March 31, 1959. The property is owned by SeaWorld Entertainment and covers the total land area of 335 acres. The animal exhibits grab the major sense of attraction which includes Cheetah run, Orangutan outpost, Kulu canopy, Asian wild adventures, etc. There are totally 8 roller coasters and 4 water rides to entertain people of all ages.

Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando is the second largest resort in Orlando, Florida. The resort houses two theme parks, a night-time entertainment complex and 4 hotels. Theme parks- Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. Entertainment complex- Universal CityWalk . Hotels- Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Cabana Bay Beach Resort.

Legoland Florida

Legoland Florida is a 145 acres theme park in Florida. It is the second largest Legoland Park in the world featuring enormous rides, shows, restaurants, shopping and other exotic attractions. Pirates' cove, lego technic, cypress gardens and legoland Water Park are the major part of attractions.

Lion Country Safari

Lion Country Safari has been reported as the 3rd best zoo in the US by USA Travel Guide. It is the first "Cageless zoo" in the nation. The park consists of over 1,000 animals; the specialty is that most of the endangered species found here are being handled with an utmost care. Giraffes, rhinoceroses, and zebras are allowed to move freely within the premises.
