What a relaxing place to holiday. On arrival greeted with a cold fruit or rum punch. We were upgraded to an Ocean view room but whilst the views are great they are a bit of a walk from the beach with quite a few stairs so i asked if we could stick to a Garden View room, no problem at all. The room overlooked one of the wedding gazebos and the beach beyond...the beach only a few seconds walk from the room. If booking with Virgin I wouldn't pay the excessive upgrade to a beachfront. As all other people have said the rooms need an update but had everything and were cleaned well each day, new beds had just been put in garden view rooms so no jutting springs that people have mentioned. the staff were wonderful and polite. Jules the activity guy was very hard working and really tried hard to get kids involved...much to my daughters annoyance as,at sixteen she just wanted to sunbathe. But even she gave in in the end. He would chat to guests and was very friendly. James on the bar made a good cocktail and got us a bottle of water the first evening as the shop was shut. Word of warning about the gift shop, the prices are in US dollars and prices high. we discovered a drinks machine by the snack bar that dispenced soft drinks and water so we used to fill our water bottle there each day.

We found the Seawitch online but booked by phone. My husband and I stayed with another couple for the weekend of the beach music festival and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (standard double) was a little on the small side but nice and clean. Good location. Cafe clean and food was fair. Great tiki bar and night life fun! Over all we will stay there again.

I am currently staying at Boardwalk Beach Resort and just comment on what a wonderful place it is to stay. Check-in was a breeze, we even got into our room 2 hrs early. The resort is one of the cleanest places I have ever had the luxury of staying in. There is someone always cleaning, floors, windows, ect. The staff we have encountered have been very friendly. We have been here over July 4th weekend and although the city is wild, the hotel has been in complete control. There have been some roudy guests but security was quick to take control. The pool is very large and the zero entry side is perfect for small children. There is also a "splash area" and baby pool that is very well taken care of. Another great thing is that the parking is right out front, no walks across streets or long sky bridges to deal with. Never once did we have a problem finding a parking spot. I cannot say enough about this wonderful resort. We stayed at Splash last year and to me, they do not compare to this place. I love it and am so upset that our vacation is coming to an end!
