Holiday Villas II Resort Condominium is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the relaxed beachfront town of Indian Shores. Surrounded by warm, gentle surf and plenty to do including the temptation to do nothing but savor the relaxed atmosphere. Soft sand beaches afford excellent opportunities for swimming, sunning, snorkeling, shelling, sand castles, fishing, boogie-boarding, glorious sunsets, romantic moonlight walks and an occasional glimpse of dolphins traveling the coastline. This is a perfect vacation spot offering something for everyone. Kids of all ages will delight in the many local attractions. Bare foot walks, historic sites, bird sanctuary, miniature golf, tennis and much more is sure to complete your day.

This place was convenient to everything in Orlando, no question about it. It was laid out a bit awkward with part of the rooms and the restaurant being across the road from the main portion of the resort. We weren’t really affected by this though. The staff wasn’t the friendliest we’ve encountered, but then again they weren’t rude. The main issues I had with the place were the upkeep. I felt the entire time like I should have brought my tool box with me. It reminded me of all the little fixes I needed to make at home. The bathroom door was a pocket door and the slider wasn’t lined up correctly so it dragged causing us to close the bedroom door and leave the bathroom door open most of the time. The shower was obviously an afterthought because it sprayed into a triangular whirlpool tub. Outside the grounds hadn’t been worked on except to cut back all the palms to start the re-growth process, the walkways were cracked and uneven and the parking lot in rough shape. If you want to walk places on vacation don’t bother going here, there’s a sidewalk in front of the property but only in front of the property. But if you are looking to hit all the theme parks while in Orlando and can put up with the little maintenance needs, this will place will be fine. Just don’t expect fine linens and marble counters, like some folks seem to. We were happy to be on vacation in a warm place and that’s what counted for us.
