Ginnie Springs Resort’s greatest attraction is its natural beauty. The resort comprises over 200 acres of pristine forest and pasture land, nestled along the south bank of the Santa Fe River. Seven separate springs dot the edge of the river. Each day, these springs discharge up to several million gallons of crystal-clear water that is a constant 72 degrees, year round. The clear, blue spring water provides a stark contrast to the dark, tannin-stained Santa Fe River. When the two mix, as they do at the river’s edge, the results are spectacular — particularly when seen from under water. Above water, tall hardwood tree — some over 100 years old — provide plenty of shade throughout the property. They provide a beautiful setting for camping, hiking or just plain relaxing. |
