The royal Poinciana tree in full blooms indicates the south Florida tropical climate. The flowering season of the tree will be June where it requires a tropical or near tropical climate. The royal Poinciana flowers will be large with four spreading scarlet and also with spotted yellow and white.
Generally, in United States the royal Poinciana tree grow only in south Florida, the Rio Grande valley of south Texas ranging from the low deserts of Southern Arizona. The tree is more useful in tropical conditions, because it grows to the modest height around 5 m and it reaches to the height of 12m. The tree spread widely and provides full shade. The leaves have soft appearance and characteristic light, bright green.
