4 Attorneys Disbarred In South Florida, 6 Suspended Problems Range from Rule breaches to Convictions TALLAHASSEE - It would be a while before 25 attorneys see the inside of a Florida courtroom again, at the least when it comes to representing a client. The Florida Supreme Court has dismissed nine of the lawyers, suspended 13, and reprimanded 4 more. 10 of those attorneys are placed in South Florida. Disbarred from working law in Florida are Barney Cummins, an attorney in Ft. Lauderdale; Teresita Devila, of Miami Springs; Donald Mint mire, of Palm Beach; Scott Nunley, of West Palm Beach. Those attorneys, who were disbarred, because ranging from criminal indictments to failing to keep clients informed about the progress of their case, would not be allowed to practice law in Florida again unless they induce the state to re-instate them. |
