Under a law signed by Gov. Jeb Bush, it’s stated that the High school students in the state will have to assert majors and minors, just as college students do. A major could be an established academic subject like English or math, or an occupational field like carpentry or auto repair. Mr. Bush said the measure would make high school more relevant and more interesting. |
