Thursday, April 27, 2006 A driver appontied for hiring golf balls from the lake narrowly escaped from being caught by 9-foot alligator. Stephen Martinez, 43 was looking after golf balls when he saw alligator coming towards him. Alligator bit his arm and tried to pull him under water and he fought back with a knife. The alligator was later trapped. Stephen martinez suffered minor injuries and was treated at a hospital
