There's more to do in the vicinity of Half Shell Resort other than just hanging out such as kicking back, and relaxing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. All the smiling people and all the fun things makes the trip here worthwhile. The high level of precipitation makes Half Shell Resort a relatively wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; April is when it's the driest. The wonderful variety of local attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are splendid motives to come. All our national parks are fine places to check out, and Castillo De San Marcos National Monument is no exception, and the good people of San Mateo like to hang out close by. This campground is so delightful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Long Swamp is right nearby, and sites like Ravine Gardens State Park are brilliant to go to. There's such a large number of things to do near Half Shell Resort, and it really is a magnificent campground.
