Spent 3 nights at the Keel Club Condos at the Marina Inn. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. We were put into a fabulous 1 BR condo that was spotless. It looked out onto the harbor and was an terrific value. We were "warned" that there is not much to do in the area other than golf and fish (and of course sailing/boating) but that is all we had in mind. My son and I had probably the best 3 days of father/son fishing/golfing ever. The marina and resort are well kept, the amenities were quite sufficient given our golf/fishing focus and the location for fishing was perfect. We will be back.

Located in the heart of this paradise is Punta Gorda RV Resort, the heart of old Florida where you will arrive to warm, friendly smiles. Even the clouds slow down a bit as they pass by the park. Its a place where you can enjoy the incredible views and access to Floridas plentiful resources. Although this alone would be incentive enough to spend a few days here, youll find our Gulf location busting with amenities. This is such a tremendous campground. Myakka River State Park is both pleasant and beautiful, and it's near Shell Creek Park. Famous Florida hospitality and the tremendous facilities are incentive enough to come here. A quick spree to Myrtle Creek near Shell Creek Park is a nice idea, and for you golfers we recommend close by Sunnybreeze Golf Course. At Shell Creek Park through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 70's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 70's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Shell Creek Park. There's more to do next to Shell Creek Park other than just hanging out such as relaxing, and playing golf, so you won’t get bored. Ok, now is a great time to go camping, or what do you think? Shell Creek Park in Florida is exactly the place. This segment of Florida is always a delight to check out throughout camping season. Shell Creek Park is in the vicinity of Cayo Costa State Park which is a pretty location; lots of folks from Arcadia come here. Shell Creek Park ordinarily gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is August while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Water’s Edge is in a convenient location with easy access to two of Interstate 75’s exits (#161 and #164). We are close to shopping, restaurants and leisure activities. Punta Gorda and the Charlotte Harbor area are considered by many to be one of the top retirement areas in the country. You can enjoy country living at its best in our RV resort. Located on the resort is a log cabin style main building with bathrooms, showers and laundry room as well as two satellite bathroom/laundry room buildings. Our rec hall, pavilion, pool, spa, fishing lake and fishing dock are centrally located. Most of our sites will accommodate RV’s up to 42’ in length and are approximately 45’ wide. All of our full service sites have city water, city sewer, and 50 / 30 AMP electric service.
